In My Mailbox

Okay so after weeks of watching many In My Mailbox videos and posts I have decided that I was going to try it. So bare with me, I am really sorry if this is really crappy.

So I have four books that I am attempting to read this week. The first book is Wings By Aprillynne Pike.  I am actually reading this because I am attending my first book signing this weekend and she is one of the authors that with be attending.  I am so excited! And a little nervous.  I really don't know what to expect. But I will get through it. :)

Anyway back to Wings.

Laurel's Life is the very definition of normal....until the morning when she wakes up to discover a flower blooming from her back.  As it turns out, nothing in Laurel's life is what it seems Now, with the help of an alluring faerie sentry who holds the key to her true past, Laurel must race to save her human family from he centuries-old faerie enemies who walk among them.

I am actually about half way through this book and it is kind of amazing.  I really don't even know what to think about this book other than 1) I am going to be sad when it ends. 2) I am happy that there are two more books after this one. :)

Okay the second book is Vampire Kisses: The Beginning.  It is actually a collection book of the first three books of the series.

The mansion on top of Benson Hill has stood empty for years.  But one day it seems to be occupied, and its mysterious, handsome in habitant Alexander Sterling becomes the source of much talk around town.  Raven, a vampire-obsessed Goth-girl who has always considered herself an outsider in "Dullsville" is determined to uncover the truth surrounding the secretive Alexander.  As she gets to know him, and their spark intensifies.  Raven finds herself in some unanticipated situations.

I am really excited to to start this book.  I read some really great things about it. :)

Fade Out The Morganville Vampire Series By: Rachel Caine

Without the evil vampire Bishop ruling over the town of Morganville, life has changed- dramatically.  The resident vampires have made major concessions to the human population.  With their newfound freedoms, Claire Danvers and her friends are almost starting to feel comfortable again- almost.

This is book seven of this series.  I had to take some time off of reading this series because it was kind of making me mad lol :)  But I am better and ready to take this book on!

Impossible By: Nancy Werlin

Lucy is seventeen when she discovers that the women of her family have been cursed through the generations, forced to attempt three seemingly impossible tasks or to fall into madness upon their child's birth. But Lucy is the first girl who won't be alone as she tackles the list. She has her fiercely protective foster parents beside her. And she has Zach, whose strength amazes her more each day.

I am really excited to read this book.  I have a feeling that it is going to be a really great book.  :)

Well that is. That is my first In My Mailbox.  I hope that I did it right and that you guys enjoy.
