AuthorsAreRockstar!! Jenny Han!!!

I had the great honor of hosting a spot on the Author are Rockstars tour!!! Not only was I so lucky to be on the tour, I was able to interview JENNY HAN!!!!!

She is truly a rockstar!  She gave us some of the best characters out there.  She gave us Conrad!!!! When I was first told about these books I went straight to the store and bought all 3 books!  I read them all in one day and cried when they were done.
She is and always be my rockstar!

Hello Jenny!!! I am so glad that you have stopped by!  So lets dive right in!!!

How did you come up with Belly and Conrad and did you always know the outcome of the books?

I did not always know the outcome of the books. The whole way through, I had a picture in my mind of what the last scene would look like—a girl in a white dress, running with a boy. I just wasn’t completely sure which boy. In the second book It’s Not Summer Without You, I wrote half of it from Jeremiah’s perspective, and I fell in love with him for sure. Conrad had always been in my heart, but Jeremiah kind of snuck in there and stuck. I vacillated between the two of them much the same way Belly did. She loved them both in different ways.

What was your favorite scene to write from the summer series?

My favorite scene to write was probably the day after Christmas scene in We’ll Always Have Summer. I liked the thought of these two characters sort of colliding into each other after a very long time apart. They are both so guarded and careful with each other, because they both still care, but then Belly slips and falls, which I love. Physical comedy always makes me laugh.

Did you spend months at a summer house writing the Summer books?????

I was very lucky and I got to spend time at a lot of different summer houses while I was writing the Summer books. I was in the Hamptons and at Cape Cod. The summer house in the book is an amalgamation of all the houses.

Where is your favorite place to write? Some authors have said that they have to be in a quiet office or off in a log cabin somewhere, what do you have to have to write?

I like to write at cafes and in hotel rooms, at friends’ houses, on the subway. Anywhere but in my own apartment.

So are we going to see Belly and Conrad anytime soon???
Maybe a movie???

The TV rights for the Summer series have been optioned by Lionsgate TV, so my fingers are crossed! It’s the first step in a series of many, many steps—it seems that in Hollywood, lightning has to strike twice, and then again and again. But I’m always hopeful!

Thank you so much for stopping by!  I just want you to know that you are truly a rockstar in the writing world and I personally could not get enough of Belly and Conrad!!! Thank you for giving us such a great story!!!

Scrap Metal- Alexi Raymond and Jennah Scott

I didn't know if you know this, but my awesome best friend wrote a book!!!! I know right!!! That is so cool!!!!!  She co wrote this pretty awesome book called Scrap Metal!!

Not one to settle down, Angelica Rousseau never thought she’d consider planting roots in the small town of Kimmswick, Missouri. When her art speaks to her—and gives her a reason to get up close and personal with body shop owner, Ryker Talcott—sticking around starts to have appeal.

Ryker has to deal with a lot of personalities and has found that custom orders for women almost never end well. Especially when the women are as picky and confident as Angelica. This time it’s different. He's never met a woman like her. She rivals his confidence and has the attitude to back it up.

When the past threatens their future, Angelica and Ryker have to decide what's more importanttheir own promises to themselves, or the love they both feel for each other.

Here is a quick excerpt:

Ryke growled. “Sweetheart, I’ve been thinking about you since you stepped out of my shop a week ago. Tell me you haven’t done the same thing.”
“If I haven’t?” She cocked her head to the side. Ryke’s mouth watered with desire. He wanted to fasten his lips to her neck, mark her as his.
“Mmm, I don’t think that’s the case.”
“I guess you’ll have to wait and see, won’t you?”
“You are torture.”
Angel laughed, placing her hand in his and tugging him down the hall to the rear of the shop. Ryke closed his eyes, pictured them coming back to the front of the shop when she wasn’t so distracted by her project. Hell, he would be more than ready to sneak up behind her, take her by the waist and toss her onto the counter. If only he knew she would go for that.
Without too much deliberation Angel found what she described as the perfect piece of metal. It was thin enough she would be able to mold it without too much heat, but sturdy enough to make a functional chair.
As soon as she started rambling on about the variations and striations, Ryke zoned out. He’d have to work on paying attention if he was going to try to make a go of this.
Ryke helped her put the metal in Ray’s truck. He was ready to put his plan into place when they walked inside, but she jumped onto the counter and sat with one leg crossed over the other. Her hands propped up behind her, pushing her breasts out to further torment him.
“So about that adventure on the desk.”
This woman knew what she was doing to him. When she hopped on the counter her eyes lowered a fraction of an inch, a look that screamed, “I’m yours to do with what you want.”
The sound of a truck out front turned both of their heads. Ryke wanted to tell her he could lock the door or hell, forget whoever was out there. He was hard and aching and had a beautiful woman on his countertop.
Angelica hopped from the desk, cupping him in her hand. “Probably not good for business, huh,” she pouted, her hand trailing across his zipper as she started to move behind him. “You have an office back here, right?”
Ryker looked between the door and the woman who turned his world upside down and his dick hard enough to break concrete. She motioned with her thumb behind her. “Come find me when you’re done.”

It sounds so great!!! So now when it comes out on JULY 8TH you need to get it!!!!!

It is available at www.lsbooks.com  soon for preorder!!!!!
